In Denmark, Mukhtar the bus driver had a birthday. He worked that day. His regular passengers had an idea.
I just love it when people that we rely on, usually without a word, get the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

the Academy Awards
so i watched the academy awards front to back this evening, only to come to the realization that, those 3 hours i spent watchign i will never get back. Bummer. To me the only highlight of the evening was the fact that Avatar got snubbed handily, and that the Hurt Locker was the film to upstage it. Cheers to the Hurt Locker, and if you havent seen it you need to. Trust Me.
